Medicinal mushrooms are a game-changer for the skin…

Medicinska svampar är en game-changer för huden... - 1753 SKINCARE
After understanding the importance of the skin's (and the body's) endocannabinoid system, I immediately started looking for solutions on how to support this system from the inside. The easiest way is to add oral CBD to support the ECS.
But. Since it is not legal to sell oral CBD in Sweden (if the product is not classified as a medicine), we needed to find other solutions. Manic as I am, I tried to find alternative approaches.
This led me to a substance called Betulinic Acid. This substance has been shown to communicate with the body's endocannabinoid system receptors. This makes the substance very interesting as it can affect the endocannabinoid system from within.

Then the question arose. What is the most potent and effective way to extract Betulinic Acid? The answer appeared quite quickly – the mushroom chaga.
Chaga is a traditional medicinal mushroom that has been used for a very long time. One of the biggest components in Chaga is exactly Betulinic Acid. When I started delving into Chaga, I also found the medicinal mushrooms Lion's Mane, Reshi and Cordyceps.

These mushrooms themselves have different functions and properties, but the common factor is that they benefit the body's (and skin's) endocannabinoid system.
The question that then arose was. Where can you find the absolute most potent and effective extracts? The answer coincidentally led to a British man in the woods, in Lithuania. This man for the past 13 years has devoted almost all of his time to extracting the perfect mushroom extracts. Mainly from Chaga but also from the other medicinal mushrooms.

The man, whom we can call R, absolutely does not want to work with "corporate" (big companies) but after many meetings we have now finally found an agreement where we can buy his extract.
We call it – 1753 LIFESTYLE.
Here below I have summarized some of the properties that each mushroom has in our human body:

Chaga
Antioxidant properties: Chaga is rich in antioxidants, including phenols and melanin, which can help fight free radicals in the body and protect cells from oxidative damage.

Immunomodulatory effect: Some studies have suggested that chaga may have an immunomodulatory effect, which means that it can strengthen the immune system's ability to fight infections and diseases.

Anti-inflammatory properties: Chaga has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation in the body, which can be beneficial in relieving certain medical conditions.

Digestive support: In some traditional villages, chaga has been used to support digestion and promote healthy bowel function.

Energy Boost: Despite not containing caffeine, chaga has sometimes been considered a natural energy booster, which can help increase stamina and reduce fatigue.

Lion's Mane

Cognitive Benefits: Some research studies suggest that lion's mane can improve cognitive functions, including memory and learning ability, which may be linked to its neuroprotective properties.

Potential Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Lion's mane has shown potential in some studies to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be beneficial in reducing inflammation in the body and protecting against certain diseases.

Possible benefits for gastrointestinal health: There is some evidence to suggest that lion's mane may support a healthy stomach and intestines by promoting the growth of good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract and supporting the digestive system.

Cordyceps

Immune Modulating Properties: Cordyceps can help strengthen the immune system by improving the production of certain immune cells.

Energy Enhancement: Many believe that cordyceps can increase energy levels and reduce fatigue by improving cellular energy production.

Respiratory health: Traditionally, cordyceps has been used to improve lung function and increase oxygen uptake.

Antioxidant properties: The mushroom contains antioxidants that can help protect the body's cells from oxidative stress and free radicals.

Stress-reducing: Some studies have indicated that cordyceps may have adaptogenic properties, meaning it can help the body adapt and deal with stress more effectively.

Improved endurance and performance: Cordyceps has been used by athletes and others seeking to improve their endurance and performance, as it can help increase oxygen uptake and improve muscle function.

Reishi

Immune booster: Reishi is believed to strengthen the immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells and other immune cells.

Anti-inflammatory: The mushroom may have anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation in the body.

Antioxidant: Reishi contains antioxidants that can help fight free radicals in the body, which can help prevent cell damage.

Stress Reducer: It has been reported that Reishi can help reduce stress and promote a relaxed mental state.

Liver Support: There is some evidence to suggest that Reishi may have positive effects on liver function and may be used as part of liver therapy.

I myself have been eating this particular combination of mushrooms for 5 weeks. My experience is that I am more alert, have more energy and focus and sleep better. This is a step in the right direction towards taking care of your skin, for real.
