Skin inflammations - a nightmare for anti-aging
There are few words in the skin care industry that have been more popular than the words "anti-aging". Achieving an anti-aging effect seems to be something that attracts a lot of people.
But what exactly is anti-aging and can you somehow stop/slow down the skin's aging process? If you look up the word in an English dictionary, you get the following description:
"Anti-aging substances are intended to prevent or limit the process of becoming old".
In Swedish, it becomes something like "substances that are supposed to have an anti-aging effect have the purpose of slowing down or stopping aging".
It is not possible to stop the aging of the skin, but on the other hand, there are different ways to age in the most beautiful way possible. The single biggest "anti-aging action" you can take is to reduce inflammation.
What then are inflammations in the skin? A brief explanation is that inflammation occurs when the skin's immune system, for various reasons, has been activated. An inflamed skin with an active immune system ages much faster than a non-inflamed skin.
The world's best "anti-aging" methodology is therefore to reduce inflammation in the skin.
Three ways to reduce inflammation:
1. Avoid foods that create inflammation (wheat, dairy, and short-chain sugars)
2. Eat things that help the body (and the skin) reduce inflammation. Examples of such sources include probiotics, prebiotics, omega-3, vitamin D and hemp.
3. Use skin care that strengthens the skin's endocannabinoid system. This vital system has a direct impact on the skin's immune function and resistance to inflammation. If you help this system to come into balance in this way, you also indirectly help the skin's immune system to function as it should.
Our Western way of life makes it difficult for us to completely avoid inflammation. What we can do, however, is to reduce the risk of this hostile anti-aging process with small lifestyle changes.
By applying phytocannabinoids (CBD and CBG) to the skin, you create very good conditions for bringing the skin's endocannabinoid system into balance.
